Bench test (before first power-up)
Battery disconnected, ECU and every sensor unplugged. Meter on resistance. Each pair below must read open (OL): a reading means a pinched wire, a stray strand or a mis-pinned cavity. Then check continuity of every wire (last column of the build checklist).

Fit check: needs add-on. Resolve these before building: - Low-impedance injectors need peak-hold drivers or ballast resistors - Trigger pattern needs a workaround: Emtune Mode 2 "Multi-Tooth Custom" — a cam-driven multi-tooth crank: the help's own example is "a 4 Tooth Crank Wheel with a single tooth (50/50) Sync Sensor driven off a Camshaft … Also known as 1-Tooth per TDC". The 7M-GE/GTE Ne (24-tooth, cam-speed) + G1/G2 (two 1-tooth sync pickups) configures as a non-missing-tooth crank + one sync sensor; the second sync pickup is optional (semi-sequential/batch — the 7M is batch anyway). No *named* 7M decoder, so this is a workaround. Auto-mapped by auto_map() from the library pin data on 2026-10-23. Review every wire against both manuals before building. Open items: - Fuel-pump control: Emtron Shadow 8 needs to drive the fuel pump, but the stock ECU has no fuel-pump output (an airflow-meter contact or a separate module runs it) and the ECU has no fuel-pump output pin to wire — add a fuel-pump relay on a spare low-side output, see the install notes for this car.
